Where can I find your catalog?

We have many styles and catalogs to choose from,  click here for our online catalog. If you are interested in Premium American Made Garments, please click here(Only licensed embellishers may order from AA).

Tell me about Screens…

Sure! We offer three sizes, but most often, standard size will suit everyone just fine. If you project or job requires something special or extra, just let us know, and we’ll see what we can do! (Sizing Updated in Screen Pricing)

Remember. Dark garments may require an additional under-base screen to help you keep those vivid, opaque colors. So instead of just printing red and blue on a tee, we may have to do a white plate first, then lay our red and blue down. If this is the case, there is a slight additional charge, but nothing to worry about!

How much are the screens and setup?

If you are ordering over 50 items, the first screen is on the house. 100+ or more items, and setup (up to two colors) is free. Anything under 50 pieces or over four colors is 25$ per color for the standard screen(11”x16”), $35 for the oversize screen(16”x20”), and $45 for Full Screens(18”x23”). WE HAVE A 12 PIECE MINIMUM PER COLOR/PER IMPRESSION. I.E. You have a 4 color  print on the front and a 2 color print on the back, the minimum order for this would be 60-72 Pieces.

Why cant I print 1 shirt, why is bulk better?

Well, good question! Screen printing, is made for bulk printing, and the printing is actually the quickest part of the process. We like to think of it as 80%Setup and 20% Production. Alot of time and work goes into getting shirts ready for print, and because of this we do not print 1 shirt at a time, as it would prove to be too costly. The smallest run we will normally do is 36 pieces, anything under and a small fee is applied depending on the amount. Shazaaam!

So, How Much Does This Stuff Cost?

There we go! Right to the fun stuff! Money!  Since so many factors will go into the final cost of printing, we try to make it as easy as possible for you.

Do we pay for printing now?

Yes. Your payment must be received before your order is printed. Large scale projects require at least 2/3 down before we begin,(please inquire about this in the contact/quote section).

What kind of files are accepted, and should we get them ready?

All Files must be 300 DPI or a Vector File. Preferred file types are .PSD, .TIF, .EPS, .AI, .PDF, and .JPG. Design should be sized to print. If you do not know what this means, then let us handle it! We are magicians when it comes to setting up and handling your file, however there will be an additional hourly surcharge based on the amount of work and time to get your artwork print ready.

What is your turnaround time?

Typical turnaround time is 10-15 business days + shipping time. Turnaround time is only an estimate, is not guaranteed and starts when your order is paid for AND we have all information to complete your job. Complex designs or orders with extra add-ons may increase turnaround time. Allow for at least 3 additional days for interior printed tags. The most up-to-date turnaround time will be listed on your quote and invoice. If you have a deadline for your order, you must let us know when placing your order and a rush fee may imply. Taking longer than 24 hours to approve your digital proofs may delay your order. There are many circumstances out of Shirts Up’ control, and we will not be held accountable for weather, earthquakes, godzilla attacks, out of stock items, etc.

Do you have a minimum?

NO! But there will be some surcharges if your are doing under 25 pieces. We will do any size order but there will be some restrictions on size and number of colors. We recommend printing at least 50 for best pricing.

How bout I mix and match them shirt and ink colors?

Yes. Different shirt colors are ok as long as the ink colors are the same. If we need to change ink colors additional fees may apply, starting at $20 per color change.

Is it possible for me to mix shirts sizes, or should I order in the dozens?

You can order as many different shirt sizes as you want and you don’t have to order in dozens, although we do appreciate it. Certain brands do require ordering in half dozens, and dozens.

I would like to use an Apparel Company that is not listed in your catalog.

No problemo! We print on hundreds of different brands but to make it easy we only list the most popular ones, and most readily available.  As long as we can get the blanks we will print it for you. Just drop us an email and we will see what we can do!

We currently offer. Anvil, American Apparel, Independent Trading Company, Gildan, Hanes, Jerzees, Tultex, Augusta, Port Authority, Port and Company, Next Level Apparel, Alternative Apparel, Tri-Mountain Wear, and many more!

I’m missing a few shirts, what happened?

All orders have up to 4-6% over/under run. Some garments can be damaged during printing. Due to the nature of this business we are not responsible for these shortages. Please keep this in mind when ordering and its never a bad idea to order extras.  Embroider utilizes a 10% over/under run.
